BOOKS
1. Do you value books?  Do you enjoy reading?  Why or why not?
Do you have a favorite book?
What about when you were a child?


2. If you read, do you like something light or something more challenging?


3. Who are some of the most celebrated authors in your country?
Have you read their books?


4. What kind of books do students have to read in high school in your country?  Are they old-fashioned and outdated, or are they books that young people can relate to and enjoy?


5. What is a book that you think students should read in school?  why?


6. Some people think the book is usually better than the movie adaptation.  Do you agree?  why or why not?  Is there a book that you would like to see turned into a movie?



7. Reading is a more valuable way to spend time than other forms of entertainment like watching TV or playing video games. Agree or disagree?



8. Everything I can learn in a book, I can learn from TV or movies, so reading is a waste of my time. Agree or disagree?



9. Do you think paper books will disappear someday, or at least become obsolete? Does it matter?
